Beonyx is a Quebec company founded in 2023 by Michael Martel and Louis Déry. It designs and builds the B1, a Canadian-made, eight-wheeled, articulated all-terrain autonomous electric vehicle. Thanks to its patented rocker-arm suspension, the B1 carries up to 3,000 lb of payload, handles 35° lateral and 60° frontal slopes and offers up to 250 km of range. Its modular platform is used in defence and civil security, emergency response, resupply and remote infrastructure. In 2026, Beonyx was selected as one of nine recipients of a Minerva program defence innovation grant.
Original Custom Components (OCC) is a French company specializing in the design and manufacture of innovative technical solutions using metal and polymer additive manufacturing. It supports clients in developing parts and systems tailored to their needs, from design through production, mainly in defence, sport shooting, naval, motorsports, automotive and maintenance, repair and overhaul. Relying mainly on FDM and LPBF technologies, OCC delivers solutions that improve performance, weight, size, ruggedness or manufacturing speed, including polymer parts that withstand temperatures up to 200 °C. Its founders have more than 30 years of experience in innovation, including more than 15 years in additive manufacturing, and have filed several patents. The company also designs and manufactures spare parts and technical components for motorsports, automotive and marine applications. “The art of putting material in the right place.”
Rozvelt is a Montréal company that designs and manufactures a dual-use modular respiratory platform in Canada. Built for military personnel, law enforcement and first responders, it closes the gap between the full CBRN gas mask, heavy and reserved as a last resort, and having no protection the rest of the time. Its half mask mounts magnetically to the helmet, deploys in seconds and adapts to each mission with interchangeable shells and filter cartridges while preserving mobility and communications. The defence version targets dual NIOSH and CE certification, while the Vektr commercial line for hunting and shooting shares the tooling and supply chain of the defence program.
